The 2025 CFSEI Expo, presented by the Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) is designed for architects, builders/contractors and engineers. The 2025 Expo Schedule is geared toward both skilled cold-formed steel (CFS) framing professionals and newcomers and provides opportunities for networking.

Stipend Program
CFSEI is awarding up to five $1200 stipends to young engineers and professors or instructors to attend the 2025 CFSEI Expo. The stipend can be used for any travel and lodging expenses related to the Expo. Recipients will receive free registration.
Eligibility: The stipend program is open to engineers under 35 years old and all instructors at universities with civil and structural engineering programs. Apply here by March 17, 2025. Recipients will be notified by April 1.
Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute
The Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) comprises hundreds of structural engineers and other design professionals who are finding a better way to produce safe and efficient designs for commercial and residential structures with cold-formed steel.
CFSEI members work together to develop and evolve industry standards and design methods, produce and issue technical bulletins, and provide seminars and online training to improve the knowledge and skills base of engineers and design professionals.
CFSEI is part of the Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA), where its leadership as the industry’s key touchpoint for CFS design receives full support.
