Nevell Group, Inc., a Brea, Calif.-based. commercial interior and exterior wall systems specialty trade contractor and SFIA member, recently announced the execution of an agreement to acquire Universal Interiors, Inc., Las Vegas, Nevada.
An official Nevell Group news release posted on PR.com said the acquisition will enable NGi and Universal Interiors to “[come] together to begin a unified effort in the Nevada markets.”
Nevell, Universal Interiors: Combined Strengths
Nevell Group has been looking to expand its geographic reach into Nevada for quite some time, the NGi news release said.
The two companies, the release said, “look forward to combining the strengths of the two companies to provide our customers a superior level of service, quality and performance.”
Universal Interiors was founded in 1989 and, since then, has completed major projects throughout California and Nevada.
“Universal is devoted to customer satisfaction with over 100 years combined experience in the construction industry,” said an NGi news release about the acquisition. “They take pride in developing relationships with their customers that last a lifetime. Through superior performance they have become a team of exceptional people who consistently exceed customer expectations.”
Upon completion of the acquisition, Nevell Group will have operations in every major market in California and anticipates “record growth” with the expansion into Nevada, the NCI news release said.
“We thank all those, including developers/owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, trade partners, subcontractors, suppliers and employees, who have allowed us the opportunities to team and deliver successful projects in the past,” NGi said in its release. “We look forward to participating in many more important projects moving forward.”
NGi: Investing Heavily in Prefabrication
A recent company profile with BOSS magazine, What We Do, How We Do it, and the Driving Force Behind it All, states that NGi has invested heavily in the prefabrication side of its business.
“Customer demand for faster, smarter, more efficient building solutions fueled the move into an aspect of the business that has significant growth potential,” the article says.
The article reports that Nevell Group began as a $10 million business and “has grown its revenue to roughly $300 million annually.”
The company maintains an office staff of 145 people and has “a field workforce that ranges from 600 to 1,200 professionals, depending on the project,” the article also states.
