FRAMECAD is launching a new media initiative, the Build It Better Podcast Powered by FRAMECAD, on June 14, 2023. FRAMECAD America Inc. is a member of the Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA).
Build It Better covers the most up-to-date advances in prefabricated cold-formed steel (CFS) framing, while also introducing listeners to the technology, equipment and software that FRAMECAD delivers. Robert Johnson, business development manager at FRAMECAD and a professional with over 40 years of construction experience, will be the podcast’s host.

Johnson says Build It Better is geared toward builders, architects and engineers and presents prefabricated CFS framing systems as the future of construction.
“By sharing stories of other FRAMECAD operators and by discussing all the different technologies that are coming on line, such as robotics, we’ll build tremendous awareness about the benefits of cold-formed steel framing,” Johnson says.
A Global Podcast
Build It Better will be a global podcast, Johnson says, and will feature prominent guests based in the Australia, New Zealand, the United States and elsewhere. Programs will address CFS framing and construction, both residential and commercial, and will focus on prefabrication and off-site construction. While CFS prefabrication and off-site construction are not new, many builders and developers are used to stick-framing with wood and will benefit from topics discussed on the podcast, Johnson says.
