The Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA) Code Compliance Certification Program verifies that products produced by SFIA member companies meet the requirements of the building code.

SFIA C3P

The Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA) developed the Code Compliance Certification Program (C3P) to verify that cold-formed steel (CFS) products meet building code requirements. Although codes vary by jurisdiction, the program follows the latest international standards published by the International Code Council. All SFIA members manufacturing CFS structural or nonstructural framing are required to participate within the program requirements.

Vote for Certification Update
The SFIA Board of Directors approved C3 Program updates, which are expected to reduce costs for manufacturer members while preserving a quality assurance framework. Voting for C3P began on February 3. Voting members should have received their ballots. Contact Don Allen, SFIA executive director, with questions.
