TikTok has more than 150 million American users “who have woven the app’s fire hose of 60-second videos into the fabric of their lives,” The New York Times says. So, it’s no surprise to see 140 million views of cold-formed steel (CFS) framing videos touting the building material’s shortened construction cycles, flexibility, precision use and more. CFS is a durable, resilient material that builders love and that can provide cost benefits over a structure’s entire life cycle.

Cold‐Formed Steel Framing Tech Guide
The Technical Committee of the Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA) has released Version 2023.1 of the SFIA Technical Guide for Cold‐Formed Steel Framing Products for architects, engineers, specification writers and contractors.
The Product Technical Guide is the most up-to-date metal framing guide available in North America as it meets the requirements of the 2021 International Building Code (IBC), the 2022 California Building Code and the 2020 Florida Building Code.
