SFIA member FRAMECAD announced the addition of Simon Lovering as the Business Development Manager for the U.K. and Ireland.
Simon brings 28 years of experience in the cold-formed steel (CFS) industry with him. His professional journey began as a draughtsman in the U.K., and he seamlessly transitioned his skills into various technical sales roles within the construction sector over the past 25 years.
In his early years, Simon specialized in selling purlins and rails to the portal frame market. He then moved over into the light gauge steel framing sector in the mid-2000s. Not only has he played a crucial role in the successful growth of the businesses he has been part of, but he has also been instrumental in developing and implementing new products, particularly in steel framing.
“We are excited to have Simon on board, his experience in the steel framing industry and technical sales will ensure the growth of FRAMECAD Systems across the U.K. and Ireland,” said strategic director Clint Greaves.
Simon’s appointment marks a strategic move for FRAMECAD as they aim to enhance their presence in the region. His primary focus will be on providing comprehensive technical support, offering solutions guidance and providing valuable advice to customers.
FRAMECAD anticipates the positive impact of Simon’s leadership and expertise on the company’s growth trajectory in the U.K. and Ireland, contributing to the company’s legacy of transforming the construction landscape with cutting-edge steel-framed design and manufacturing systems.
