AD Appoints Shannon Bibbee as President of National Accounts

AD appointed Shannon Bibbee as President, AD National Accounts, adding more than 20 years of industrial supply leadership to support the company’s growing national account capabilities.

August 4, 2026 — SFIA member AD announced that Shannon Bibbee has joined the company as President, AD National Accounts. The appointment follows AD’s July 8 announcement of its intent to acquire supplyFORCE.

Bibbee brings more than 20 years of commercial and operations leadership experience in industrial supply distribution. He has built and led high-performing commercial teams throughout his career. His experience will support AD as the organization expands its national account capabilities.

In his new role, Bibbee will lead AD’s National Accounts Program. He will work with AD leadership, members and supplier partners to strengthen AD members’ competitiveness across the network.

“Shannon’s experience and transformational leadership will be instrumental in the development of our National Accounts Program,” said Bill Weisberg, AD’s Chairman and CEO. “The timing of his hire is intentional as we continue to advance conversations about the prospective acquisition of supplyFORCE.”

AD and the supplyFORCE boards continue to complete the required approval process. The proposed transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and shareholder and board approvals. AD expects to close the acquisition during the third quarter of 2026.
