The Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA) Certification Program enables truss fabricators to distinguish themselves in the competitive landscape by demonstrating proficiency in cold-formed steel (CFS) framing. Certified fabricators receive recognition for continuous improvement, education and training, and quality control systems.
Certified fabricators demonstrate expert knowledge of CFS floor and roof truss administration and assembly as evidenced by the SFIA, the leading CFS construction industry association.
The process for obtaining certification for floor and roof truss fabrication is very similar to contractor certification. All truss fabricators (floor and roof) who are SFIA members in good standing are eligible. (Truss fabricators do not need to be members of the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry.)
