July 14, 2026 — CEMCO®, LLC, manufacturer of cold-formed steel (CFS) framing and metal lath products for more than 50 years and an SFIA member, announced that Steve Farkas, a 26-year veteran of the company, has been promoted to senior director of business development and marketing.
Farkas joined CEMCO in 2000 as an outside sales representative serving the Orange County, Los Angeles and Riverside-San Bernardino markets. In 2004, he transitioned to product management and later became corporate marketing manager.
In 2018, Farkas assumed the role of director of business development. He has overseen the company’s advertising and marketing, website, trade shows, evaluation reports, technical services and engineering.
His technical expertise and commitment to execution have contributed to CEMCO’s growth and success for more than two decades. In his new role, Farkas will continue those responsibilities while overseeing key strategic partnerships and licensing opportunities.
