FALLS CHURCH, VA —The Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) has announced the winners of its 2025 CFSEI Design Excellence and Creative Detail awards. This year’s awards were presented during the 2025 CFSEI Expo, May 19–21 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“This year’s entries demonstrated the creativity and flexibility that cold-formed steel brings to solving complex design challenges,” said Jeffrey Klaiman, P.E., CFSEI managing director. “We applaud the award winners and encourage engineers, architects and other professionals to explore these standout projects as inspiration for their own work. We’re grateful to everyone who submitted entries.”

Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute
The Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) comprises hundreds of structural engineers and other design professionals who are finding a better way to produce safe and efficient designs for commercial and residential structures with cold-formed steel.
