Following the acquisition of Denver-based Knudson Manufacturing, SFIA member Scottsdale Construction Systems is pleased to announce the operations executive leadership of the merged entity.
Patrick Flood, R&D Director
Patrick Flood, most recently president of Knudson Manufacturing, will assume the role of R&D director for Scottsdale Construction Systems, covering all product lines globally.

Patrick, an innovator at heart, a former U.S. Navy officer and an incumbent of several senior executive roles in the industry with a penchant for pursuing customer value through research and development, will lead the continuing delivery of next-generation roll-forming products and services to our customers globally.
Grant Murfin, Global Director of Manufacturing
Grant Murfin takes up the role of global director of manufacturing, directly overseeing production of machines at Scottsdale’s facilities worldwide.

A 20-year company veteran, Grant brings to the table high-quality leadership, vast manufacturing experience, and passion for operational excellence which collectively will continue to assure the delivery of trusted and highly reliable equipment to customers in all regions and across all product platforms.
Wayne Sawyer, Vice President of Technology
As vice president of technology, Wayne Sawyer will lead the nurturing and expansion of the company’s technology stack.

In addition to directly overseeing the software development teams, Wayne leads the company’s IT services, digitalization efforts and brings cutting-edge technology to every facet of every product. Wayne, a former incumbent of various executive functions in the technology industry also integrates operational processes throughout the company globally.
In addition to their focus areas, Wayne, Grant, and Pat will also contribute to company’s success as members of the senior executive leadership team.
